"At Cohen Children’s Medical Center, we pride ourselves in working with our community to change the future of cancer care. The combination of local and global reach of the Strohm Foundation’s philanthropic efforts make them an exciting new partner in our battle against Diamond-Blackfan anemia (DBA). DBA is a rare inherited blood disorder affecting about 5-10 newborns per million births in the United States. Patients with DBA suffer from severe anemia and birth defects and have a high risk of developing a wide variety of cancers. Our research integrates laboratory and clinical science to achieve clinically relevant results. My group relies heavily on relationships with leaders like the Strohm Foundation to fund research so we can improve outcomes for patients affected worldwide."

"We are grateful for the support and commitment from the Strohm Foundation to Children’s Cancer Institute based in Australia. As the only independent medical research institute in Australia wholly dedicated to childhood cancer, our role is vital. Because despite our progress, cancer still kills more children than any other disease. We absolutely believe that our researchers will one day end childhood cancer and the long-term side effects of treatment. Thanks to generous supporters like the Strohm Foundation, we’ve made great progress. But we won’t stop until the job is done. And we’re so glad to have you by our side, Edward."

"The Strohm Foundation, under the leadership of Ed Strohm, has become an important agent for positive change and international collaboration in the borderless world of pediatric cancer. As a global leader in pediatric healthcare, CHEO touches the lives of a half million children and youth each year including those in parts of Ontario, western Quebec, and Nunavut who are affected by cancer. CHEO also conducts leading-edge cancer research that connects exceptional talent and technology in pursuit of life-changing discoveries to benefit children across Canada, the U.S, and around the world. We are so thankful to Ed and the Strohm Foundation Ltd for working tirelessly to advance pediatric cancer research and reduce the long-term effects of oncology treatment experienced by children and families who face this terrible disease." Steve Read President and CEO, CHEO Foundation
"We share the Strohm Foundation’s belief in borderless research: that the way to beat cancer is to harness the finest scientific minds across the globe, and we are honoured to be in partnership with you. Paediatric cancer research is a key area of focus for Great Ormond Street Hospital Children’s Charity (GOSH Charity) as we aim to develop innovative and gentler treatments for the hardest-to-treat childhood cancers. On behalf of all of us at GOSH Charity, thank you to the Strohm Foundation for all you do to enable our collective ambitions for cancer research – the results of which will not only have a significant impact on children in the UK but around the world."
